What are your thoughts about Moissanite rings? Any recommended shops where to get them?

My partner and i have been talking about engagement rings recently and i have told him that i've found a liking for moissanite over a traditional diamond for an engagement ring. Has anyone here have a moissanite ring? What are your thoughts about it as an engagement ring? And may mare-recommend ba kayong stores where to get one? I would prefer kasi a moissanite stone set in a gold or white gold band
