Late-night Reykjavik advice? Arriving at 1 AM in mid-Feb – what’s open/doable until morning?
Hello There people :P
I’m landing at KEF mid-February at the sparkling hour of 1:00 AM 🥱 and need your wisdom:
- Go straight to my hotel and pass out (boring but practical?), or
- Embrace the adventure and find something to do until sunrise.
- Are there any 24-hour cafes, late-night pools, or cozy spots to kill time?
- Is Reykjavik’s downtown area safe to wander at night for a solo traveler?
- Any hidden gems (or even just a decent gas station snack spot) that’s open super late?
Thats it for now aaaand if you see a jet-lagged zombie clutching coffee and slipping on ice downtown, say hi!
Takk fyrir! (That’s all the Icelandic I [my ai helper] have mastered.)
Edit: Im arriving on a Saturday
