Marten trans good?

I have a friend flying out to Oregon for orientation. Only thing I felt sour about is it says something like YOU'RE responsible for travel,flight, room expenses if you quit within 6 months of employment. Other than that though, are they a pretty decent gig? He's well experienced so he's only going to orientation for 2 days and then getting his rig.
