Am I the only one who thinks electrics are braindead in this game?

As a long time high level Mishima player, I'm kinda shocked that namco have decided to double down on making the ewgf a braindead neutral tool.

This move is fast, crushes highs occasionally, does chip damage, gives a full launch, plus on block, has really great range, has decent tracking and has amazing whiff recovery.

Am I the only one who thinks that the execution barrier doesn't justify the strength of the move?
