Should I give my ex valentine chocolate?

Basically we’re both 16 ( I’m M she’s F) and she broke up with me because she was busy with life, totally understandable. She’s said in causal conversation with other mutual friends she doesn’t want to date again until she’s 21.

Recently tho her and I have been getting closer. And I haven’t gotten over her at all. She’s been having rough home life and to be honest so have I and I thought maybe if I gave her chocolate when I see her it would make her feel good.

side note: we will be at the same place on Valentine’s Day she also said that she would attend my Formal (basically Australian prom) with me. she’s got a dress and she looks amazing in it. So yeah should I?
