Are attractive people usually lonelier than average-looking people?
Hi, my name is Adam. I'm an 18-year-old boy. Growing up, I always thought I was just an average-looking guy (and I still believe that). I was never approached by a girl—although I did get asked out once, but I refused because I thought it was a joke. After discovering Reddit, I started posting selfies (something I had never done on any social media platform before) and asking people about my appearance. To my surprise, they complimented me, saying I was above average, that I should consider modeling, and that I have beautiful eyes, etc. (You can check my profile for proof.)Now, I keep wondering: Was my attractiveness the reason behind my loneliness this whole time? Or was it just my personality, my weak social skills with women, and my inability to express my emotions?because i always thought that attractive people can easily get a gf without even trying.
