Brand new OLED 1Tb no longer boots
I’ve had it 3 days. I’ve played several steam games without problems. Installed emudeck and was playing Pokémon red in the gba emulator. While playing I hit the steam button and the screen froze then started slowly filling with noisy pixels and fading out to grey. I thought okay the emulator doesn’t like having anything over top of it and it hung, no big deal. So I held the power button down until the thing turned off, plugged in the charger and went to eat dinner. Now the screen will not power on at all, I think the unit is alive because I feel haptic feedback when I touch the pads but the screen is black. There’s no audio output either.
I’ve tried booting it holding the volume up and down keys separately. When I held the down key I did get one white pixel in the center of the screen and some other scattered green blue and red ones. Probably around 12 pixels total. I just tested it again and got a corrupted grey screen with scan bars going left to right when holding volume down for boot.
To me this looks like a bga problem with a gpu chip but i can’t believe that after only 3 days of use. Any ideas? It’s boot looping right now with a black screen
