Improvising Pipe mount
My square dishy arrived yesterday, but unfortunately the pipe mount adapter (along with all the other mounting options) are on back order. So I was forced to improvise a mount. Here is what I came up with re-using an old DirecTV J arm mount that I was already using for a wifi relay to the shop building about a thousand feet away.
What I did was use a 8-10 inch long section of 1 1/4 inch schedule 40 PVC pipe, which has an inside diameter about .03 inches larger than the square dishy's mounting post. I then drilled and tapped a hole for a set screw which locks the PVC relative to the dishy post and keeps it from spinning using a cheap drilltap, I also drilled a pair of holes in the straight section of the J arm about 90 degrees from each other and about 2 inches in height difference and added screws which hold the PVC to one side of the metal tube as it is about 1/8 inch smaller than the J arm tube.
This is just temporary as I suspect the PVC may get brittle and crack over time (years)
