Should I give away free promo-codes for the pro version of my app?

I launched Kodebook last week which is a modern tech notes app which has abilities like in-notes code execution! I’m working on adding more premium features to it. Should I give away free promo codes for the users who are interested so that they can test the premium version of the app for free?
