Was this planned to further bond “Helly” to Mark? Or was this Helena finally letting loose and acknowledging the absurdity of Eagan lore?

It seems that this would be an unexpected response from Helena. Wouldn’t this be a huge red flag for Milchick if it wasn’t planned from the start?
