game doesn't open

Hello people. I wanted to try this game out again after some time but after installing it won't load. The game opens and I get the intro screen but it only goes until the loading thingy and that keeps spinning and nothing happens. I can't even close it, I tried task manager but seemingly only restarting my PC does the job.

Anyone that can help me with this?
