Fantasy Games and the Bible

What is a biblical opinion on fantasy considering magic is a common occurance there and the Bible states that God hates magic? Specifically rpgs like Dungeons and Dragons and Pathfinder?

I am not a believer but I have been having doubts recently about whether these things are sinful or not. I play these games fairly often and want to know if they need to be given up if I ever come to repent and believe.
