Meta rewards question

So what's the best way to get a bunch of levels for meta progression without making the difficulty to hard? Im having fun, and I enjoy doing runs, but I also like leveling up my pokemon so I can do new runs with an advantage. Especially for more challanging runs. So what's the best way to get those things? Is there a way to increase money and or level rewards I'm missing?
