Why would the detective arrest ryoba if she did nothing but the matchmaking elimination method ?

Yes Ryoba killed one girl before the start of the game, but if there was no proof it was her, and all the other girls just got into relationships- why would the detective still assume it was her ?

As far as all these girls know, ryoba had nothing to do with them finding relationships… so as far as the detective knows- all these girls just got into relationships.

And if he wants to blame ryoba for it, what sense would it make that she would kill one girl for senpai then find boyfriends for everyone else ?

All he would have as proof is that ryoba stalks senpai (which everyone with a crush in this universe seems to follow their crush around lol), the few things with ryoba holding a knife and burning trash the day of the girls disappearance, andd all of senpais friends started dating someone.. feels like that’s not enough.

If you did a completely pacifist route like befriending all of them, then asking them to stay away from senpai- it’d make sense that ryobas involved. But i doubt the guys that ryoba is helping get with their dream girls would admit it or snitch on her for helping.

Feels like this is the perfect ending that would result in the detective giving up 🤔
