Has anyone watched their own kids while nannying?

I’m currently pregnant and work as a registered nurse. I nannied on and off for about 10 years while I was in school.

I want to be a stay at home mom with my baby, but financially I don’t think it’s feasible for our family. I’ve been looking up per diem/part time jobs but recently started considering nannying again with the caveat that I would like to also watch my own child while nannying.

I would be open to reducing my rate since I’ll have my own child with me. I would be open to brining my child to their home if that’s what they would like. I would probably wait until my baby is at least 6 months old before doing this.

What are your thoughts on this? Have you heard of this or done this yourself? Do you think parents would be open to this idea or would it defeat the purpose of a private nanny?
