Changing actors and shorter dungeon SkyTemple

I've been trying to change some of the actors pokemon, mystery, dungeon explorers of sky and I applied the patch so I could access the actors area, but unfortunately all of the pokemon that I have changed are for some reason, not appearing as the pokemon that I set them to. I also changed the floors for the dungeon so they could be shorter, but for some reason, there's still their regular length.I was wondering if anybody would be able to help me with this
