Does the Lenovo IdeaPad 3-15ALC Support eGPU via NVMe?
Hi everyone! I’m looking to set up an eGPU on my Lenovo IdeaPad 3-15ALC using the NVMe (M.2) slot, since it lacks Thunderbolt support. Before buying an adapter, I’d like to know if anyone has successfully connected an eGPU this way.
My specs:
*CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700U (8C/16T, up to 4.3 GHz) *RAM: Upgraded to 16GB DDR4 *Storage: 256GB NVMe SSD (plus an extra M.2 2242 slot and 2.5” SATA bay) *GPU: Integrated AMD Radeon Graphics *Ports: USB-C 3.2, USB 3.2, USB 2.0, HDMI 1.4b, *SD card reader. Has anyone tested an NVMe to PCIe eGPU adapter on this model? Does the BIOS allow it, or is it locked? Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!
