Peppermint Mocha Latte with White Thai Kratom

Just wanted to share a fun little experiment I tried some mornings ago with my new White Thai kratom powder from Super Speciosa. I’ve been on a bit of a kratom latte kick lately, and since it’s winter, I thought, why not make a peppermint mocha latte with my dose?

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp White Thai kratom powder (Super Speciosa)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or your milk of choice)
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 1 tbsp sugar (or sweetener to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp peppermint extract (a little goes a long way!)
  • 1 shot of espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee (optional but highly recommended)
  • Whipped cream and crushed candy canes (optional garnish, but festive AF)

Instructions:

  1. Heat your almond milk in a small saucepan on medium heat until it’s steaming (but not boiling).
  2. Whisk in the cocoa powder and sugar until dissolved.
  3. Slowly stir in 1 tsp of White Thai kratom powder. I used a handheld frother to make sure it blended super smooth—no clumps!
  4. Add the peppermint extract and espresso/coffee, and stir well.
  5. Pour into your mug, top with whipped cream and crushed candy canes if you’re feeling fancy, and enjoy!
