Breast reduction surgery. How can I get my surgery date to come faster?

I’ve been approved for a breast reduction. I’m 5’5 140 pounds and I have an H size which is really wearing me down. I’ve been added to the cancellation list through my insurance Kaiser permanente. I heard that I could let the surgeon doctor know that I’m able to travel further just so they can’t get me in faster is that true? Or any advice?
