About Kashimo...

Okay so im sorry if im doing anything wrong, but its my first time posting on reddit! I also don't really know if this should be considered a spoiler so if you haven't read the manga from chapter 237/238 and don't want to be spoilered then don't read this

I can't be the one that found something wrong about Kashimo's death. First - he was one of the strongest sorcerers in the Heian era. I know that my reasoning may sound pointless now, but let me explain. lf he was so strong back then, why did he die so quickly? Why couldn't he endure a a lot more of Sukuna's power? I also saw people calling Kashimo the "Gojo of his era", but i don't know if this statement is true. I know that some people are surely going to call me the one who's pointless, but i just want to explain how i see it. I know that a lot of things changed since the Heian era was over a millennium ago, and everyone of course got stronger, but even despite that, Gege should've made Kashimo a lot stronger. We can aswell take the fact that he effortlessly killed over 40 participants in the Culling games and still wasn't satisfied? It could say a lot about him.

And i also found something else a little bit of weird. lf i didn't miss anything in the manga and the anime, there weren't a single mention of Kashimo. I honestly didn't even know about him untill he appeared in the manga. Maybe Gege's point was to hide him and then make a big entrance? But that would make no sense aswell, because he died so soon... well, we can expect anything from Gege at this point, so i wouldn't even be surprised. But what do yall think about his death, or Kashimo overall?

(lf i made any mistake, either grammarly or my knowledge is wrong, please feel free to correct me in the comments! I admit that i'm not very invested in the lore, so i'm just speaking my mind from the things that i know already.)
