Genuine question bc I'm acc quite baffled

Hello, I basically hover around this sub where it pops up on my feed often, and I have a major question.

I am an Indian immigrant in the UK, and I feel like I've escaped the pressure cooked that is Indian education system, because what do you mean you need to write your centralised exams as well as JEE, NEET, and the rest (Which also confuse me as to wtf they are), AND you need over 95 (based on what I see from this subreddit) to get into a top uni???

Brother I feel like I've shit-housed education - we literally need between 75 - 80% to get an A* in our A-Levels (your level of intermediate) and if you get that in three to four subjects you're guaranteed a Russel Group Uni. WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU NEED OVER 95% TO GET INTO A TOP UNI???
