Asked me how was I doing? What did I prepare for the interview? Marks Verification (Both Academic and IPMAT) Introduction Asked me more about the documentary I have watched? ( I had mentioned I like to watch documentary) Told them all about the documentary I had watched. She stopped me in between as I was going on and on about the documentary I had watched for 1 minute. Proceeded to ask about my favourite subject.(I said BST) Asked who created the Principles of Management ( I told that about both F.W Taylor and Henry Fayol) Asked me to tell more about scientific management principles (I said all 4 principles and also mentioned there are many techniques of scientific management ) Then she asked asked about Maslow's Need Hierarchy Explained and answered She then asked on which level are you? Then she asked who were creators of X and Y motivation techniques.(Didn't know, and said we were not taught in school about it)
Then she handed over the interview to a male professor with Dr. In his name 🥶. He asked me about my hobbies. I mentioned about my hobby to watch documentary and F1. He then asked me to tell him more about some documentaries I had watched. ( I told him and also mentioned my hunger for knowledge)(He was quite impressed) Then he proceeded to ask me more about F1 and the drivers. He asked which is the most famous driver? (I said that Lewis Hamilton is the most successful but Max Vestrapen is dominating in the recent years.) He asked me about michael schumacher. I told him that he had retired many years back but he is a legend in the sport.
Then he asked me what was so special about F1? How did it give the thrill and adrenaline? I mentioned how the speed gives us the thrill. And then proceeded to explain the engineering behind F1 cars. How they are designed. How they are made so fast. How downforce,drag comes into play in straights and corners.
He was quite impressed, and also added into the conversation by further information about the drag and forces.
He asked me if I was from PCM as I had so much knowledge about drag, downforce, etc. I replied I am from commerce but have a real interest in the spirt and hence have so much knowledge.
He was quite impressed and delighted hearing that.
Overall I kept smiling and was confident throughout the interview and the interviewers were very friendly. I think if there wasn't a time limit, they would have loved chatting with me for another 30 mins 😂. I was able to answer most questions and they were more keen in knowing about my hobbies.
