Hue wafer lights with dumb controls

All the lighting in my home can be operated normally, except for my recessed hue lighting. How do you solve this? Just cut power with a dumb switch?

A core tenent of my setup is that using smart features is purely optional. I.e. a friend staying over would just operate lights as normal.
