Is this feasible?

I learned from talking to current residents that leaseholders had to pay stupid money for a new roof recently: 30k per 2 bed flat.

There are around 45 flats so that’s an astronomical amount that makes no sense.

I want to get to the bottom of this.

Would there be any evidence of this massive fee + a breakdown of why it cost so much in any documents I’m likely to receive?

Perhaps in some kind of leaseholder info pack.

I’ve asked my solicitor this but he’s not really giving me a straight answer on the matter.
