How are you supposed to catch water from washer filter on the ground?
My front loading washer sits on the floor with the dryer on top. Lately the washer has been smelly so I wanted to remove the filter (circled in image) but as soon as I turn it to remove the filter, water immediately starts spilling out. How am I supposed to catch the water that’s comes out when it’s so close to the floor? There’s no room for a pan or even a cup angled to catch the water. The only thing I can think of is just running a shop vac and running the hose while the water spills on the floor as I remove the filter. Any other suggestions?
