Taylor Freelance back strap review
Picture is a 7 yard bill drill with 124gr Magtech with 0.17-0.19s splits. In a full A zone, I'm feeling like I could get down to 0.15-0.17 splits without too much trouble. The horizontal deviation fits well inside a standard A zone, but the circle is 5.5" tall vs 9" tall for the A zone.
I'm very happy with the increase in traction from the back strap. Predictive doubles, bill drills, and 1+1 and 2+2 drills were very comfortable to do. My natural point of aim with the gun hasn't changed, but the amount of control and decrease in sliding in my strong hand in recoil was huge. I'd definitely recommend this to anybody looking.
I can't say if the brass version would be any "better," I like the balance of this gun in this configuration.
