painful bump in pubic area

so all day friday, i felt discomfort and thought it was just bc i haven’t shaved in awhile and my underwear was kinda tight. but when i took a shower i noticed a painful pea sized lump right by the crease of my thigh an pubic area. i don’t know what it is, didn’t notice any small bumps before friday afternoon, so i assume it came on suddenly. since then i’ve been wearing loose clothing and doing warm compresses, but it still feels the same. very tender to the touch and when i move. could anyone please help me to identify it and lmk if i should get to an urgent care or if it can wait till my doctors appointment on the 21st?
