Is there a way to trigger special adventures that you haven’t started yet when you’re already after the point in the main story when would’ve been triggered?

Years ago I stopped playing Hogwarts Mystery in probably the fifth year. Now I started playing again but couldn’t restore my old account so I started fresh. Since I could still remember the main story pretty well, I rushed through that. I also completed special adventures when they would show up but now I’m in year 4 and still haven’t completed most of them which I want to change. Although I could often choose one of two special adventures, I also had to wait a while sometimes until I could start the next one. After my last "regular special adventure" the Macusa storyline started and after that I found out that you can repeat special adventures that you started but didn’t complete in time. Although I don’t remember ever starting either of those, I had the possibility to "replay" three storylines and finished one (the one where we meet Chiara). But neither after the Macusa nor the Chiara story could I start another special adventure. (Between finishing Macusa and starting Chiara as well as finishing Chiara and now there lie about 12 hours each.) So now I really want to finish most of the special adventures first before continuing with the main story but I just don’t get the possibility to start one. Is there a way to do that or do I just have to wait?
