Question: Does the exclamation mark mean I have to buy it for the story to continue?

Hi! I’m currently on Chapter 3 and am doing the order up competition and I’m still hard stuck at rank 10 and was wondering if me not having these toppings have anything to do with it or if I just have to wait. I know in the past chapter you need certain toppings to progress and was wondering if it was the same here. I’m still getting judges but even when the pizza is perfect my rank doesn’t move up ;;
