Adhesive to use on replacement center stile?
Just installed a new center stile, operator reinforcement bracket, and 13ga punched angle on the top panel of my 9' door. I riveted the new stile to the top/bottom of the door, but I'd also like to "glue" the stile to the flat portion of the panel as well (see small gap in picture). I think it would add strength to the overall connection/section. What adhesive is appropriate for this? The old adhesive resembles something like expanding foam, but I was thinking about using some quick set epoxy or e6000 to allow a small amount of flex. Thoughts?
P.S. Also, after installing the ORB, I had to lower the j-arm some 5-6" lower than than was previous. The angle still looks ok, but I'm concerned that the connection is now lower than the top rollers, where I read that they're supposed to be parallel...how big of an issue is this?
