Where are all the Reindeers?

Hi there :)

I‘m currently enjoying my holidays in beautiful Lapland Finland near Levi. Our main goal was seeing the Aurora what we‘ve successfully done. But my question is, where are all the Reindeer? We‘ve done some trackings with snowshoes as well through the forests, but we haven’t seen any Reindeer. Any declarations for that or hints where we can see them in nature?
