Misty dark weather constantly

My dreamlight valley seems to be constantly stuck like this. I’ve tried offsetting time of day and that does nothing. My partner also plays and his does not look like mine he has changes of weather etc which I don’t have. Am I missing something? Is there a quest I need to do to change this it’s getting a bit depressing.
