What if EP14 was a regular elimination episode?
EP14: Aiden/Riya have immunity.
Ally makes a side deal and secretly flips to the villains side and convinces them to vote for Jake. She misleads the heroes and tells them to vote for Grett, as she is also suspicious that Grett is trying to play both sides.
- Aiden votes for Grett
- Alec votes for Jake
- Ally votes for Jake
- Connor votes for Grett
- Gabby votes for Jake
- Grett votes for Jake
- Jake votes for Grett
- Riya votes for Jake
(5-3 Jake-Grett)
8th. Jake
EP15: Ally has immunity.
Ally nearly won the challenge in canon so. Ally's suspicions are correct, and Gabby and Grett exit the villains alliance and instead become swing votes. Gabby, inspired by what Ellie told her in the comeback challenge, flips to the heroes side and votes Riya as she is the stronger contestant out of her and Alec.
- Aiden votes for Riya
- Alec votes for Aiden
- Ally votes for Aiden
- Connor votes for Riya
- Gabby votes for Riya
- Grett votes for Riya
- Riya votes for Aiden
(4-3 Riya-Aiden)
7th. Riya
EP16: Alec has immunity.
We all know Alec should've won the puzzle challenge if the episode made any sense. Grett was playing both the HA (Aiden, Ally, Connor) as well as Alec, but it didn't take long for both sides to catch on to her plan. Grett was shocked with her elimination, and Aiden exposed her plans.
- Aiden votes for Grett
- Alec votes for Grett
- Ally votes for Grett
- Connor votes for Grett
- Gabby votes for Connor
- Grett votes for Connor
(4-2 Grett-Connor)
6th. Grett
EP17: Gabby has immunity.
Gabby is naturally great with animals so she wins immunity here, she gets Alec and convinces Ally to vote Aiden off as they both don't want him to make it further. Why don't the HA vote together? It's because Ally and Aiden have reservations about each other, especially from the truth challenge. They both didn't trust each other, but Ally immediately felt guilty when voting Aiden out. The two make up. I truly feel that AllyXAiden would've been a better friendship than Jakeden.
- Aiden votes for Ally
- Alec votes for Aiden
- Ally votes for Aiden
- Connor votes for Ally
- Gabby votes for Aiden
(3-2 Aiden-Ally)
5th. Aiden
EP18: Ally wins immunity.
Ally deserved to win this challenge and Jake isn't here to stop her this time. Although Alec wants Connor to be in the finale, he feels that Connor would naturally side with Ally more and he needs Gabby as his ally more as she is more likely to stay loyal. He uses the immunity idol to shield Gabby and get her respect, and unfortunately eliminating his best friend. But I don't think Connor would take the blow too hard, as he isn't the type to hold grudges unless it's against Riya.
- Alec votes for Connor.
- Ally votes for Gabby. The vote holds no power
- Connor votes for Gabby. The vote holds no power
- Gabby votes for Connor
(2-2, Gabby-Connor)
4th. Connor
EP19: N/A
I think Connor and Riya patch their problems up and become friends again (I don't want Connoriya to have such a toxic love emphasis). Grett, Ellie and Tess bond over their unlikely friendship. Instead of Jakeglazing the whole episode, Ashley and Miriam interact more and they comfort Connor. Meanwhile Lake and Riya interact, and while they don't end off as friends Lake admits she does not hold any real grudges against Riya as Riya will get what she deserves. Aiden and James will have more of the spotlight as the main couple. Other than that not much changes except Yul and Fiore are forced to hang out with each other as Alec is not here, and Tom probably interacts more with Jake now that Gabby isn't here. Tom and Jake actually fix their relationship properly, and not just magically date each other again. The same trio (Fiore, James, Yul) get the idols. Fiore, having first pick, chooses Alec. James is next and he is paired with Ally as they were friends from S2. Yul is stuck with Gabby. Fiore gives the disadvantage to Ally/James as she knows Gabby and Alec worked together.
EP20: Ally and Gabby have immunity.
Though Gabby and Alec worked together in the F5, they didn't work with each other now. Fiore tried to sabotage Gabby but she used Yul to push Fiore away. As the two sides are too busy trying to make the other side lose, Ally has an easy road to victory and she passes the finish line first. Her and James worked really well together. At the final leg, Alec and Gabby were neck to neck but Fiore tripped and set Alec back. He waited for her, showing that he didn't care about the money but instead about her wellbeing and the two share an awkward but sweet moment. Gabby takes this opportunity to pass the finish line and she makes it into the finale.
3rd. Alec
EP21: Alt Endings
Ally is helped by Hunter and Tess. Gabby is helped by Ellie and Tom.
(I will write two different explanations to why they both deserved to make the finale)
Ally: Proving that she doesn't need to listen to the haters
- Ally always had so much potential, she was overlooked in S2 for being a Mary Sue and always caring about what others think. However during this season Ally really showed that she did not gaf and instead cared about what her friends thought of her. She focused on winning immunities and strategised her way to victory. In the finale, the love from Hunter and Tess boosted her mentality and she was able to take the last point from Gabby.
Gabby: Proving that she doesn't need to listen to her evil self
- ever since Ellie departed, Gabby felt less and less safe. She thought that her evil persona would take over and found it harder and harder to keep positive. However Grett helped her overcome her insecurities and inner demons after Gabby helped Grett liberate herself from Yul's abuse. Originally Ellie wanted to help Gabby but Gabby didn't want Ellie to hurt herself as Gabby would get too distracted. Gabby proved that she is more than her evil bipolar indicated persona.
