DCBL777 or DCBL772

Looking for your opinion. My old 20v B&D blower finally died so I'm in the market for a new Dewalt blower since I have several dewalt 20v batteries. None are Flexvolt though. Seems Flexvolt is the way of the future? Should I spend the extra money on the new 777 in stock at the local HD for better performance or go with the 772 and have plenty of spare batteries and save a few bucks. My lot is pretty small but I do use the blower every couple of days to blow off edging, leaves, patio, garage floor etc.
