Clarification about Trump Afghanistan withdrawal
Destiny was talking to Jessiah about Trump intentionally “kicking the can” regarding withdrawing troops from Afghanistan. But I thought what happened was Trump ordered a memo to withdraw from both Afghanistan & Somalia, but the generals refused because it would be insane and potentially catastrophic.
Is he just talking about before this tail-end decision, or is he unaware? It’s just another testament to Trump’s volatility that should be noted.
I was also under the impression that before this crazy memo thing, it was Trump clashing with the generals, with Trump wanting to do it fully and as fast as possible and the generals not.
