current thoughts and predictions, post sdra2 chapter 3 trial

so... Nikei is the 5th void member, right? like, surely. it felt like that's where the hints are pointing. (don't actually confirm if this is the case)

Kanade... I hate what happened to her. this is something I haven't liked with this game, the motives are boring as shit. first case, it was just cuz bro was void. second case was alright, but still, her being void kinda felt eh. this case wasn't void... but instead Kanade's entire character changed for the worse. she is... no longer interesting. what happened to Hibiki is sad, I guess. it was a tragedy, yeah. but it was also, like... I didn't really care? it felt way too exaggerated to be believable. their execution was good though, could have been flashier, but the rest have felt very boring to me, so this one was good.

that being said. I absolutely LOVE the fact that there were 2 blackeneds. I was so confused when there was only 1 death (loved the death, by the way, it was very cinematic and terrifying). Having 2 killers is great, I really thought it'd just be Kanade. While I hate the way it was Hibiki, I like that Hibiki is also a blackened. Also I like that Syobai actually participated yooo

it keeps talking about heavenly luck, which is like... that's Utsuro, yeah? Are they like, Utsuro's children or something?

One more thing. They all have weird red eyes, right? If Nikei isn't void, what about Kinjo from DRA1? At the end of that game, his eyes were all creepy, so...

the setting was nice, it felt likeme a fourth chapter with how confusing the setting wasm trying to work out the logistics of them going in and out using different thingies, yeah... I'm glad I'm not actually in the killing game, I woulda died so hard 🙏🙏🙏

anyway yeah. the Otonokoji freetime events feel a lot less impactful with the end of chapter 3.
