Interview

Hi all,

I’ve done about 30 interviews in the past month, and I haven’t made it past the hiring manager round yet. It’s been tough on my mental health since I’ve been unemployed for 8 months now.

I have an upcoming second interview with a startup (about 10 people in the company). This time, I’ll be speaking with both founders. My initial call was with one of the founders, and it felt more like a conversation, which made it less nerve-wracking.

The co-founder mentioned that this round will focus on digging deeper into “the what [output] and how [input] of the work you’ve done previously and the various ways you’ll contribute at [company name].”

Do you have any pointers or advice on how I can prepare for this? Should I do a SWOT analysis or focus on something else? What kind of questions should I expect or ask?

I’d really appreciate any tips or tricks you all have. I’m praying this opportunity works out!

Thanks in advance!
