Someone Give It To Me Gently - What Is Real Country Music? 🤠

I've begun delving more into country music, my knowledge of popular artists is pretty small & i'd love to explore more artists!

Whom should I look into?

I listen to George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Keith Whitley & recently found Ronnie Milsap & Steve Wariner - i like a specific type of country i just lack the term to describe it more accurately.

Im not a fan of Tim McGraw, Brooks & Dunn, Rascal Flats, Big & Rich, Luke Bryan, Zac Brown etc & I'm not a fan of the "pop" crossover sound thats become popular - i like the more traditional types.
