Advice for driving in snow?

Moved to Columbus from Miami, FL in September of last year and haven’t been brave enough to drive when it snows/there’s snow on the ground (will definitely be sitting Blair out) but would appreciate any tips/advice anyone has to eventually learn! The reason I’ve been scared is because my car doesn’t have 4 wheel drive (I had bought it way before I had any plans of ever moving up North). I’ve heard that tire chains are a thing and want to look into those and take some test runs in parking lots when it’s not bad out but don’t want to risk hurting anyone. I own my car and it’s paid off but is it worth it to look into selling to get 4 wheel drive? Any input you think would be helpful is genuinely appreciated!

Also did NOT know freezing rain was a thing before moving up here 🙃

Terrifying to learn about it but still love Columbus.
