Hot take: LV imagination is the emperor’s new clothes

JCB is a fantastic perfumer, and I do enjoy some of the LV fragrances (though none are worth their price), however I’m baffled as to how much LV imagination gets. It’s BY FAR the most recommended fragrance I’ve seen after five months of lurking on this sub, closely followed by creed Aventus, BDC and probably sauvage or Dior homme intense.

To me it is indistinguishable from Chanel allure homme sport édition blanche, unless I have one on each wrist. Which isn’t to say it’s bad, it’s a good scent. But it’s nothing special and also not worth it if something functionally equivalent exists for 1/3 the price.

It would not get half the praise if it wasn’t labeled Vuitton, change my mind.
