Why is everyone freaking out?!

Everyone is freaking out about the servers being down even though it’s nothing new. Usually, people just post their memes and go on with their day but now people are having full-on meltdowns. The servers going down are nothing new (I don’t think we even got Takibi) and I don’t even think it was as bad as previous times. I don’t get what makes this one so special, special enough to warrant everyone freaking out. Someone, please explain.
