My cat wakes me up every night

My cat wakes me up every night. She meows directly in my face until I wake up. I wake up every night because she wants to get out of my room. Granted I live with roommate’s and have to close both doors so she is unable to get to her food or litter box. Is she lonely or is it my fault?the only problem is I’ve tried having her food in my room but she still does it. She wants to go run around? My room is tiny.
