Is 49 too old for Bumble?

I’m a 49m and it’s so rare that I ever get a match on Bumble. I don’t really understand why - I’m tall, handsome and funny. I get matches on Hinge but the few I’ve gotten on Bumble have been very low quality.

For example, the last one I got - and we actually started a conversation briefly - would only talk about things she was doing with her kids and sent me pics of her kids for like 3 days. Like “Here’s a fish he caught!” Or “Here’s my daughter holding a kitten.” Lost interest quickly and it seemed like she’d never actually have time to date.

I send out likes and most of the responses I’ve received are scammers. I’ve yet to have one Bumble date and meanwhile had numerous Hinge dates.
