Slightly Elevated Creatinine & eGFR - Biohacking Insights?
Got some blood work back with two slightly off results, looking for community insights. I eat a high protein diet (100-120g/day, no protein supplements), exercise regularly, and am otherwise healthy.
- Creatinine: 88 umol/L (45-85 umol/L): Just above the normal range.
- eGFR: 69 (>59): Technically okay, but optimal is much higher.
Could the high protein intake be a factor? Any biohacking strategies for kidney health? Similar experiences?
I would like to start taking creatine for my workouts and overall health. Now I am not sure if it will be wise.
