Hey WTA, train your employees on how to talk to trans people!
It happens rarely, but there is a non-zero number of times I've been misgendered on the bus by WTA employees. It costs zero dollars to not address the woman wearing women's clothes with masculine language. I'm not in the mood to accept this, it never happens to cis people and my gender isn't so ambiguous that people wouldn't know better.
Now if anyone here who knows the inner workings of WTA training I'm really curious if there is any kind of cultural competence training, especially regarding trans people. If there is and I just got a transphobic driver I suppose that's different. If there isn't training on this there probably should be, since it makes WTA busses potentially hostile.
