No display output, Bazzite on HTPC
I'm attempting to install Bazzite on my HTPC, which currently runs the latest ubuntu LTS. While I think ubuntu works pretty well, I've been so impressed with the Bazzite on my Ally X that I'd thought i'd give it a shot. Plus I'm huge fan of the immutable nature of the OS.
When I load my bootable USB, after the initial grub boot screen and terminal text, I only get a black screen on my tv, no installation gui. No amount of waiting will cause an output. The TV is plugged in via HDMI, not displayport. Additionally, I do not have integrated graphics on this system.
I'm using the HTPC AMD Gnome version of the Bazzite build, and my primary specs are below.
- AMD RX 6700 XT
- Intel Core i5 12400F
- 32 GB DDR4 RAM
- 2TB NVME
It's worth noting that I haven't had any issues with my ubuntu install, so this isn't super critical for me to solve. But if there's a solution I'd still like to know because I would like to switch to Bazzite on that system at somepoint. Plus it may be helpful for someone else who's in the same situation.
