Is Alfira that important?

I'm on my first run in bg3, and I just finished saving the sanctuary and giving the party. But I've been looking for some things about the game, and found out that I had the chance to have talked to Alfira (I didn't see anything about it, but I saw that it was an interesting interaction). But I can't do that anymore, because it already gave the party. Was it very important to have talked to her? Should I go back hours of my save and redo a lot of things to be able to get her quest? Am I losing a lot if I don't do that? If anyone can help me please, without giving spoilers, thank you!
