how do you store loose reusables?

i have a couple of reusable baggus that i recently realized are by far the best bags for groceries. that said, i don't often reach for them because i lost the small square storage bags for them, so it's hard to compress them and put 'em in a larger bag when i'm running out of the house. does anyone have any alternative ways to compress reusable baggus? are clips/rubber bands the move?
