Why Are So Many Young Men Struggling with Low Testosterone?
I’m 29 years old, 6 feet tall, 230 lbs, and have been lifting weights about four times a week since I was 16. I don’t eat the healthiest, but I’m mindful of what I eat.
Back in 2020, I started feeling sluggish, unmotivated, and just slower overall. After multiple doctor visits and blood tests, they found my testosterone was shockingly low—around 130. Since then, I’ve been on 0.5ml of TRT per week, which keeps my levels in the 600-700s. I feel better, but I’m not a fan of the side effects.
What really frustrates me is that not a single doctor can explain why a young, active guy like me had such low testosterone in the first place. It just doesn’t make sense. Previous generations of men didn’t seem to have these issues, yet now it’s incredibly common. Why is this happening?
