How are younger people supposed to find affordable housing?

I graduate university in a few months and im almost 22 y/o. I do plan to stay with my parents for a few more years but when the time comes for me to leave, how am i supposed to find affordable apartments? Houses are probably way too expensive right now but apartments aren’t any better, but ive been looking at one bedroom flats / studio apartments.

Even though i do work and make good money, i still worry about how ill handle my finances when the time comes for me to get my own place.
